IFC gives to area libraries

WEVER – Iowa Fertilizer Company has announced a $4,000 donation to local public libraries for new books and ongoing reading programs.

The recipients of the donations include the Keokuk, Fort Madison, Mount Pleasant, and Burlington libraries.

“Iowa Fertilizer Company is proud to call southeast Iowa home, and we remain committed to supporting and strengthening our communities,” said Larry Holley, president of Iowa Fertilizer Company. “Our company has received tremendous support here in Iowa, and we are excited about the opportunity to continue giving back to organizations that are making a difference for families here in the region.”

Iowa Fertilizer has supported a variety of local groups, including Wever Fire and Rescue, Fort Madison Public Schools, Burlington Notre Dame Schools, United Way, Fort Madison Fourth of July Celebration, Fort Madison Community Hospital, Southeastern Community College, Donnellson Library, Fort Madison Sports Complex, Community Services, PAW Animal Shelter, and the Emma Corneli27us Homeless Shelter.
